Edging and bending
For edging, we bend your sheet material to the desired angle by placing it on a press brake between two molds. The upper die presses the plate against the V-shaped lower die. This causes the plate to bend and creates a 3D product. At VDL Industrial Modules we specialize in folding and folding stainless steel and aluminum sheet metal up to 5 mm thick. We do this for OEMs in hightech, mobility, energy, infratech and foodtech.
The advantages of sheet metal edging
When edging and folding, we can bend sheet metal very accurately at the right angle. Because the 3D sheet metal consists of one piece, less welding is required. In addition, edging and bending ensures a neat finish and no post-processing is required.
